Iruka yawned a bit, stretching out her arms. It was a cold breezy Christmas day and the hazelnut skin toned female with green eyes and black hair that draped over her shoulders had just awoke. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes, a faint snoring emerging from under the sheets. As she pulled back the covers, she gazed down in her lap. Nestled snug in her lap was a brown furred vixen with a big orange fluffy white tipped tail and small orange black tipped feline ears. The fitty continued to snore, Iruka's hands reaching down to rub softly at Avalon's ears. Avalon stirred a bit, yawning wide as her canines showed. She rubbed her eyes sleepily, yawning out once more. Morning Iruka. Iruka gently picked up Avalon before replacing her back on the bed, heading towards the bathroom. Morning Avalon and Merry Christmas. I have a gift for you but first things first. I am off to shower. She disappeared behind the double oaked bathroom doors, Avalon slowly rising out of bed, heading towards the window and gazing out. It was still dawn with snow lightly hitting the ground. The sun still hadn't risen yet. Avalon took off her clothes, walking to her closet before clothing herself in a long red corset dress with black heeled boots. She then put her blue hair into a pony tail, calling out to Iruka. Iruka when you are done showering, meet me in the ballroom. She left the bedroom closing the door behind her.
A couple minutes later, Avalon was in the ballroom humming quietly as the door opened and in came Iruka. Iruka was dressed in an all black gown with a big black ribbon holding her hair in an elegant manner. The dress itself had a ribbon at the hip area, her breast slightly exposed. Avalon gazed as Iruka joined her in the center of the ballroom. The two females looked into each others eyes as the piano man struck his first note. Avalon held out her paw, smiling up at Iruka asking the humanesque female Care to dance? Iruka grasped Avalon's paw, wrapping her other hand around Avalon's waist, as Avalon wrapped her free arm as best she could around Iruka's neck. I'd love to. The pair begin to move to the music, waltzing and counting in their heads as they spun around the room. Occasionally, Iruka twirled Avalon, making the height difference that much easier. As the piano man struck his final note, the two girls finished their dance. The slid to the floor, the fitty climbing into Iruka's lap, grinning a bit. Thank you for the wonderful dance Iruka. Iruka said nothing but instead tilted Avalon's chin up towards hers. She gazed for an instant in her eyes and pressed her lips softly against Avalon's before pulling away slowly, looking at the ground in embarrassment. Merry Christmas... I'm sorry.
Avalon a bit embarrassed, pressed her paws under Iruka's chin, lifting it up before she pressed her lips against her cheek. She reached in her pocket and pulled out a black box handing it to Iruka. I know it's not much and that I haven't known you long but if it's alright, I'd like to get to know you better and hope we can become the best of friends. Iruka gazed curiously at the box, tilting her head slightly as she then looked at Avalon. She opened the box slowly, pulling out a diamond bracelet with ribbons dangling from the wrist area, tears streaming down her eyes. She embraced Avalon in a tight hug, nuzzling her close. Thank you so very much Avalon. This means the world to me. I feel bad that I didn't get you anything though. She sighed a bit, wearing the bracelet as she continued. To be honest not many people want to get to know me, or seem to notice I exist. Avalon stood as did Iruka. Avalon smiled at Iruka. The snow begin to fall more heavily outside just as the sun was about to set. Iruka gazed out the window, smiling to herself. Hey Avalon? Yeah? what is it? Avalon walked up beside her, her paw squeezing Iruka's hand. Watch the sunrise with me? Avalon nodded.
The two females, hand in hand walked out onto the balcony, watching the snow fall. Avalon took her place in front of Iruka, her hand on the balcony railing, Iruka's hands loosely around her hips. The sun rose and Avalon smiled. Merry Christmas Iruka. Iruka smiled back, running her fingers loosely in Avalon's hair. Merry Christmas Avalon.

Broken
BROKEN
by Kimu-San
The sweet world we live in as a kid
has changed so much as we grow old.
Our friends leave us
as our hearts grow cold.
We waste all our time away
as we pray for it all to stay.
I try and be so nice
but it doesn't matter today.
The way you treat me
leaves me broken.
But I still talk to you
just to leave my heart hopin'
Best Friends Forever
boy wasn't that a joke.
Best Friends For life
well if that didn't leave me broke.
So what are you running from?
What are you so scared of?
I've always been here
And you'll always have my love.
But this is whear it has to stop
this is where my life goes on.
This is GO
