(Read in Eclipse Mode) "Jacob!" An annoyed female voice pierced the loud chattering of the classroom, her words directed at one kid sitting in the back. This boy had his head in his hands with his eyes closed, asleep with a pencil rolling off his desk, and having dozed off in the middle of drawing a cartoonish dragon-looking creature on some scrap paper. He had no books with him today and no responsibilities. Only a duffel bag was at rest beside him, and his large, sleek headphones clasped around his neck. Jacob’s eyes shot open upon hearing the rattle of his pencil hitting the waxed tiled floor, the sound amplified by the silence following the short-tempered AP Physics teacher's call. "I do not care if it is your last day, I will not have anyone sleeping in my classroom. Even now, we cover important things!" An Awkward Friendship

I sit quietly on the ground, admiring the very large dragon before me; the dragon has a simple gaze aimed at me, too. We both watch each other with a dumb grin plastered across our faces. Suddenly, the air in front of me becomes warm and humid as the dragon parts its jaws in a yawn. Several conflicting and utterly idiotic thoughts fire in my mind during the action of the dragon; ultimately, it causes a dejected and half-hearted chuckle from me when the dragon returns its usual pose. “What?” The dragon asks abruptly. Again, I let out a light chuckle – causing more confusion and even frustration to build within the creature. “Nothing…” I say with an almost deliberate suspicious tone – wanting to instigate further investigation from the dragon for my own entertainment. “Hmm, very convincing. Well, spit it out-” I continue to surveil the dragon with a shit-eating grin on my face, causing it to shift in further dissatisfaction. “What’s got you acting all weird so suddenly?” It asks

The End Of The End [Req]

I wake up with a start; early mornings have always been my thing – I find it rather lucky that I’m able to awaken immediately. Getting out of the simple white bed, I move through the narrow doorway. Now, I’ve arrived in a slightly larger metallic box. The bunker only consisted of two rooms – a smaller bedroom and a larger ‘common’ room. Opening one of the cupboards, a countless number of green packages sift between my fingers. This is until the label of one in particular catches my eye: steak. I liberate the package from the cupboard and unceremoniously eat the salty block inside. Deciding to have a little more hope today than usual, I walk over to the small desk in the corner. So this is not my best poem but this style is a Huitain. A Huitain has 8 lines. Each line has 8 syllables only.
Lines 1 and 3 should rhyme
Lines 2,4,5 and 7 should rhyme
Lines 6 and 8 should rhyme
